Beta hcg in ectopic pregnancy

Does beta hcg levels rise in ectopic pregnancy? Second day of missed period beta hcg was 131 and after 48hrs its 536. Wht could be d reason for low beta hcg?

If the pregnancy is early,if it is not a healthy pregnancy it can be low.

Beta hcg is high in pregnancy. Ectopic is confirmed by ultrasound only.

Get an ultrasound done to rule out for ectopic pregnancy,the beta HCG levels shown by you points to a normal intrauterine pregnancy
