Which beta-blocker is safest and least side effects for hypertension pietient long term. Because i heard beta-blocker could rises blood sugar level and increase cholesterol levels.

Beta blockers are generally not the first line of medication for hypertension. Beta blockers are generally no longer a first line agent for high blood pressure unless in specific sub groups. If used in those specific subgroups then benefits outweigh risks of high sugar and cholesterol levels.

Hi. Beta blockers are not the first line agents for hypertension. But bisoprolol has can be used in uncontrolled hypertension which has less side effects comparing to others.
