Hello, I'm Dr. Nikhil Aggarwal. Thank you for reaching out to me with your concern. The symptoms you are describing could be caused by a number of different conditions, and it's difficult to say for sure without a proper medical evaluation. However, I will do my best to provide you with some information that may be helpful. The sticky white liquid with pinkish blood that you are seeing in your belly button could be a sign of an infection or inflammation in the area. It's possible that you have an umbilical hernia, which is a condition where part of the intestine protrudes through the abdominal muscles near the belly button. This can cause pain and discomfort, as well as discharge from the belly button. The pain you experienced in your stomach earlier in the day could be related to a number of different conditions, including indigestion, gas, or menstrual cramps. However, if the pain was severe and accompanied by other symptoms such as nausea or vomiting, it could be a sign of a more serious condition such as appendicitis or a gastrointestinal infection. Given the symptoms you are experiencing, I would recommend that you seek medical attention as soon as possible. Your healthcare provider can perform a physical exam and order any necessary tests to determine the underlying cause of your symptoms. They can also provide you with appropriate treatment to help alleviate your symptoms and prevent any complications. In the meantime, continue to monitor your symptoms and avoid touching or manipulating the area around your belly button. Keep the area clean and dry, and avoid wearing tight clothing that could irritate the area. If you experience any worsening of your symptoms or develop new symptoms such as fever or chills, seek medical attention immediately. I hope this information is helpful, and I encourage you to seek medical attention as soon as possible.
