Beard patch

I have a patch on my beard area. It looks like a part od beard is shaved. Looks ugly. Was good but seen since 2-3 months. Please advice.

You may be having alopecia areata. this is an autoimmune condition due to the attack of lymphocytes​ against hair roots. It results in the formation of bald patches on the scalp. It can affect any hairy area of the body also like eyebrows and  beard. It has to be treated properly for long duration until the immunity comes down. Greetings,you may affected with alopecia barbae .It is an autoimmune condition which mostly affect scalp area.But It can affect any hairy area of the body also like eyebrows and beard.It has to be treated properly ,may take long duration.Once the immunity is controlled, hair grows back over the patches.You may can share some pics of affected area and consult me through online via clinic.
