Basal Implant
I lost tooth recently 2 yrs back. I tried for conventional implant but my bone width was only 2 mm and height was 19 mm. So it was not possible without the bone grafting. I had lost my tooth number 22 in left side. So I got traditional bridge for two abutments and one pointic recently in last month.My question is how much the time the dental bridge will remain.
In future can I go for basal implant for the lost tooth? And do the basal bone also goes for resorption like the aveolar bone?

As I do both bridge and implant . Implant could have been good option without compromising the adjacent tooth . But Having said that u have di e bridge ..dont worry . I have done for some patients 10,12 years back...still the bridges are good.. just maintain hygeine and regular cleaning ...Relax

If you have got done a zirconia or emax crown then it will last quite long. If the borders of crown are fitting well with your tooth there are less chances of failure. Also you need to visit proper oral hygiene and visit dentist every 6 months for routine oral examination and professional teeth cleaning.
Do not go for implants in future.

As you mentioned you already went through bridging
why are you thinking about basal implants in future.
Bridge is a good option of fixed prosthesis.
If you like the Esthetics don’t worry at all.
Don’t get into desperation for implants.
For front high Esthetics zone All Ceramic bridges are recommended usually and most of the time it’s come with a warranty, as these bridges are computer made so fitting is excellent and the prognosis becomes longer.
But for time being relax forget everything and smile more.
