Hi, Can we feed banana for babies with pneumonia. Doctor adviced not to feed normal one and can feed chakkarakeli (one type of banana) to feed. Can we go ahead with that type of banana to feed baby with pneumonia.

You can give any nutritious food to your baby which he/she accepts (except avoid those against which your child is allergic).... basically baby nutrition should not be compromised especially during illness. Babies tend to eat less during illness... so it's better to give nutritious diet which babies accept happily.
