Hi, From your inputs it looks like the external ear canal got injured due to the ear phones. May be there is some persistent inflammation with +/- infection which is causing the ear pain. I will advice you to take oral analgesic for pain relief. Do not clean the ear with buds or put any ear drop till you do a consultation with ENT for diagnosis and treatment. Thanks

Looks like an ear infection due to injury to the canal. Keep that ear dry. She’ll need antibiotics

Hello... it seems like your friend could have caused an injury in the external ear canal. It is advisable to take a pain killer sos. Also prevent any water entering the ear by placing a small cotton ball in the ear externally. The injury will heal by itself.
