There are many reasons for bad breath and the commonest one is the deposits of Calculus On The Teeth which cannot be removed by tooth brushing. You need to undergo a session of teeth cleaning by a procedure called as scaling as soon as possible. It not only beautifies your smile by making your teeth look cleaner, but more importantly, improve the gum health drastically. Cleaning your tongue regularly with your toothbrush is recommended after every time you brush your teeth. Use of tongue cleaners whether plastic or metallic or wooden should be avoided because they do more harm than good. With this practice you can expect the white layer to be gone within a few days. Maintaining a good level of hydration is equally important. Regards.
Next Steps
try to schedule an appointment with your dentist for a session of scaling.
