Backpain started yesterday evening . My father was sleeping and suddenly he stood and starting running upstairs due to some work. Somehow, his back ached heavily and now he can't bend. He can either just stand up or lie down. He is also facing problem in walking. Please suggest what to do. We don't even know what kind of doctor to consult.

Because of sudden movement ,muscle has gone into spasm. Apply ice packs(reduces inflammation )and hot foamentation(increases blood flow) alternatively.Gentle massage would help as well along with above mentioned treatment.
