You have not mentioned what the injections were. For Ankylosing Spondylitis, there is no cure, but you can control the symptoms. Physiotherapy, exercises, maintaining flexibility and pain killers as needed are the basics of treatment. Only if it gets more severe, you will need other forms of treatment.

X 5 days. --. Caldikind plus  (Mankind) 1 tab OD x 10 days. (You may need help of your local doctor to get these medicines.) --. Fomentation with warm water. Let the part not be exposed to cold. --. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. --. Use no pillow under the head. --. Avoid painful acts & activities. -- .Do deep breathing  exercises. --.(Take help of a  physiotherapist). --Do not ignore, let it not become beginning of a major problem. --Do ask for a detailed treatment plan. Ankylosing spondylitis is an autoimmune ds. Axial skeleton more commonly involved. Must do  Physiotherapy, exercises, antioxidant foods. U must be talking about bilogics like TNF antagonist. Costly but effective. Read about gluten  sensitivity and leaky gut, diet in autoimmune disease. Never do self medication for AS. BE UNDER SUFFERVISION OF ORTHOPEDICIAN OR RHEUMATOLOGIST.
