If you had noticed it within 2 hours of the child eating facewash you could have taken him to a Paediatrician for a stomach wash. But now it is too late. If the child is fine so far then nothing will happen.

Most likely, mild gI upset is all that will happen if only a little was swallowed, but serious symptoms are possible, especially in babies. Always play it safe call Poison Control or go to the emergency room for advice or if your child develop symptoms like dyspnoea, extreme irritated,vomiting etc
