My period is 5 days away. Can I do a B hcg test right now before my period to detect pregnancy? If its ectopic, will the low levels come up on the test?

You should wait for the date  of your periods.  If you get a negative result you will have to repeat the test. If you get a positive result with a low level no one is going to operate upon you for an ectopic pregnancy today.

No u cannot Pregnancy test can be done 24 hours after a skipped period if u hv a regular 30 day cycle Pregnancy test can be done only 24 hours after a skipped period Some percentage of ectopic pregnancy may hv negative bhcg value Go fr a transvaginal scan to rule out an ectopic pregnancy 1 week after a skipped period
