Namastey
Your eye irritation is most likely due to sensitivity to volatile ingredients like camphor, menthol, peppermint, and eucalyptus present in oils such as Kesri Marham, Sloan’s Balm, Dhanwantari Rhumasyl, and MahaNarayan Taila.
Avoid all oils containing these strong aromatic components. Instead, use mild, non-fragrant oils such as plain warm sesame oil or a customized Ayurvedic oil prepared without camphor/menthol. Gentle herbal lepa (paste) without volatile oils can also be considered. If spasms are frequent, a clinical evaluation for cervical spondylosis or posture-related strain is advisable.
Next Steps
• Stop using any balm/oil that triggers eye burning or watering.
• Consult us personally for a customized oil without volatile ingredients.
• Use warm compress (dry heat) over neck and trapezius muscles 1–2 times daily.
• Begin gentle neck stretching and posture correction exercises.
• If pain radiates to arm, causes numbness, or persists, get cervical spine assessment.
