Hello Doctors, I'm at a location where I cannot go to a doctor for physical evaluation. I'm suffering from throat pain and fever of 101.3 We had been trying for pregnancy and we had unprotected intercourse this month. Now which antibiotic is safe. ? Can I take augmentin 625 as I am carrying the same with me. No cough till now and not much sputum as of now Thanks a lot for helping me out

Better will be to use Paracetamol, Cetrizine, Vit C with Zinc D3. All of these can be used even if you conceive. I will not recommend Augmentin because there is no evidence of infection (from your description).

See madam you do this Do temperature charting. Drink plenty of water to keep your self hydrated. Take Tab paracitamol 650 mg  every 5 hourly for 3 days. Gargle with warm salt water 3 times in a day If fever persists for more than 3 days Then take augmentin 625mg twice in a day for 5 day's.
