My mother is having gas & burping problem for past 1 week . We did CT scan. Please suggest what needs to be done . Let me know anything serious.

Get CBC and. stool routine. Share more details of complaints. She may or may not require colonoscopy.

Ct scan suggests infective pathology of recrum. Gas burping can be due to other causes. RECTAL problem does not cause burping usually.
Next Steps
colonoscopy may or may not be needed. antibiotics or appropriate treatment may be needed depending on various factors. detailed history is needed.
