At 34 week, AFI level is 8
Hi Doctor,
I had a Doppler scan, and AFI is low- 8. Rest everything is fine. Doctor has advised to drink lot of water and given ARG 9 sachet 5 mg once a day. What else can be done to increase AFI? Please advise.

This is enough. How many months pregnant are you? AFI 8 is not very low , you can follow the advice of your doctor. Nothing else to be done.

Drinking water may not help
As the water the mother consumes will be excreted
Liquor around the baby is formed by the baby s secretions n urine
Make the dose of arg two times a day
Repeat ultrasound after ten days
Till then strict daily fetal movement count should be followed
