usually root canal treatment is multi sitting but it can be done in single sitting also but if patients  tooth infected then multisitting is advised as patients also to be regular to the multi sitting visits then it would be easier to finish the treatment at the earliest find an endodontist who specialises in root canal and finish the treatment before it too late and teeth may have to get extracted if not done at right time
