Arthiritis pain and weight training

2018-12-21 13:06:54
Having Juvenile arthritis and intermittent pain in joints, knees and muscles. My nutritionist and trainer has suggested weight training to reduce belly fat and fat from overall body. I am having unbearable pain after the workout sessions even though I lift very small weights. Is continuing weight training okay for arthritis patients like me? Is there any solution?

Arthris means "disease of the joints". So common sense implies to give the joints as much rest as possible. Hence weight training which actually puts pressure in your joints is an absolute No No.

As per your height weight and age your BMI is 23, which is good Kindly avoid weight training excercises as it will aggravate the pain. Just go for regular walking, stretching excercise, yoga Diet modification is important, Eat food with less fat and less carbohydrates with more Protein diet.
