Proper diagnosis and treatment is always advisable A good psychiatrist will properly evaluate you and give medicines only if needed. Moreover how to deal things without medicines will also be taken care of..teaching better coping skills. It’s never advisable to stop medicine without consulting a doctor...it’s not good in the long run
