But one mistake i did was without washing the hands after feeding the dog i poked on one side of my nostrils cause it was itching..Will i get rabies??as on internet i saw it can transfer through mucous membrane..I don't have any cut or wound anywhere...Please help me..Do i need vaccine?

This is not at all route of transmission.  It's anxiety.  You don't need any vaccine.

From what you described, the risk of rabies transmission in this situation is extremely low to negligible. Rabies typically requires: A bite or scratch that breaks the skin, or Direct contact of infected saliva with an open wound or fresh mucous membrane (like eyes, mouth, or inside nose). In your case: There was no bite or scratch. There is no visible wound or bleeding area on your finger. You touched your nose after feeding the dog, which does not meet the criteria for significant exposure. Next Steps: No vaccine is needed based on current information. Wash hands thoroughly after handling animals in future. If the dog behaves unusually (aggressive, disoriented, excessive drooling), inform local veterinary/public health authorities. If you remain anxious, you may consult a nearby doctor for reassurance or observation.
