Can anti D be admistered beyond 72 hours of delivery. We are rh incompatible couple. So can it be admistered beyond 72hours of delivery in any case

Post delivery Anti D is to protect your next baby It should be taken as soon as possible after delivery Even if delayed beyond 72 hours, take it as soon as possible else the effectiveness decreases Next time you get pregnant, do inform the doctor if you take it late.

Hi. Inj Anti D is to be given within 72 hrs of an abortion . But After delivery it depends on the blood group of the baby .
