Ankle sprain(?) still swollen 8 weeks

I hurt my ankle nearly 8 weeks ago at an ultimate frisbee tournament (jumped for the disk and rolled my ankle landing) and assumed it was just a sprain, so I self-treated with RICE. It was very swollen, painful and very bruised, but I could still walk on it (though I limped) from the day of the injury onward. It is still swollen on the lateral side, and I have pain when there is a force upwards on my heel (it feels like my ankle is going to slide out the front. Should I see an orthopedist?

• Contrast bath---It is a form of treatment where a limb or the entire body is immersed in warm water followed by the immediate immersion of the limb or body in ice water. This procedure is repeated several times, alternating hot and cold. Note that the treatment should always end in the ice water, as heat will induce the body's inflammatory response, while cold helps to decrease inflammation. And continue your RICE.
