Anal Fistula without Internal Opening

I had anal abcess surgery in Dec, now some pus is coming. Attached MRI report says Fistula terminates blindly in the intersphincteric plane i.e. incomplete fistula. Dr has cleared pus formation frm surgery site and said it recoverd compared to 3 days ago and can be treated with medicine. Is surgery mandatory or can be treated with antibiotics.
