I am in Bangalore. This is my second pregnancy. First baby had anatomy problem @ 22nd week we aborted (Mettupalayam, Coimbatore). Now I am in my 13th week. My Doctor asked me to do Amniocentesis Test with early anamoly scan @ 16th week. My NT and Double marker results are normal. Is it compulsory to do this amniocentesis test. I am worried. Because there is high risk of miscarriage after procedure. Kindly give me some suggestion.

Amniocentesis is usually done if some abnormality is suspected in blood tests or ultrasound. You have been advised to do it because of previous anomalous baby. It does not carry a high risk of abortion, it's 1-5%. I'd suggest you to follow doctor's advice
