Aggressive and arrogant behaviour

My mother who is 67 yrs old is behaving aggressively and arrogantly. She feels what she is saying is right and don't listen to any of us. She has started eating more than her routine diet. She is diabetic and what we refuses to give her to eat, she wants to eat that food only. She only sleep for 3 to 4 hrs only.
