It definitely needs surgery... The best treatment is key hole ARTHROSCOPY reconstruction of ACL with hamstring graft fixed with tight ropes and bioabsorbable screws.. I do this surgery at least 5 in Apollo main hospital every week with excellent results... If you want it to done at low budget u can meet me in my ORTHODERM bone n skin clinic in kilpauk with mri films evening 7-10pm..
