Acute sore throat with pus points

Having acute sore throat since 3 days, doctor started with claribid, Signoflam and doxcef since yesterday The throat isn't showing much improvement but fever has come down Should I consider consulting another doctor?

You are already taking antibiotics so continue the same. Since fever has subsided it’s a good thing. Start Dispirin gargles (1 tablet Dispirin in 1/2 glass warm water) three times a day for 7 days. Preferably do it 10mins prior to your meals so that you can eat well. Also take Tab PAN 40mg once a day in empty stomach. It may take some time to get complete relief but do not stop antibiotics without taking entire course.
