Acidity + travel

I’m having an acidity/gastric issue along with a feeling that I need to pass stool, but I’m not able to pass enough. There is also slight pain/discomfort while passing stool. I’m travelling tomorrow and would like to know what I can take as a precaution or for immediate relief, and whether I should take any medication before travelling. Please advise what I should do regarding the acidity and bowel issue, and what precautions I should follow while travelling.

For tomorrows travel, drink adequate water, take light meals, and avoid spicy/oily food, excess tea/coffee and late meals. Walk regularly and do not strain during bowel movements. Avoid starting laxatives or acidity medicines blindly, especially if you take other medicines. Seek care urgently if pain increases, vomiting, abdominal swelling, blood in stool, or inability to pass gas/stool develops. If symptoms persist, book a Practo consultation with me before travelling for a suitable plan.
