Acidity during Pregnancy

I'm on 28 week pregnant. I'm suffering from acidity. For this my doctor adv me to take Neksium 40 once a day. But it's not working for me. Filling pain on the upper abdomen frequently. Please advise me same medicine. Thank you.

Acidity is stomach nature without which digestion is not possible. Pregnancy changes the stomuch curve causing acid reflux. It's normal, I won't suggest taking strong antacids as they would completely stop acid secretion causing indigestion. U can take gellusil syrup. It will help

Dear patient, Acidity continuously increases with pregnancy. So spread your full day meal in installments, Avoid spicy food. Take syp mucaine gel 2 tsf TDS and continue medicines.Avoid drinking water immediately after meals.
