Two years back I had got an abscess in my anal area which was operated. Now again there's an infection at the same place which is paining and burning. Doctor has prescribed some medicine which has cured the infection little bit but the pain is still there. Doctor has advised that if the medicines do not work again it will have to be operated. Kindly advise if the operation can be avoided.
