White patches on the skin after chickenpox are often due to hypopigmentation caused by damage to the melanocytes (pigment-producing cells). While this condition is usually harmless, restoring skin tone may take time. Here are some effective home remedies you can try: Aloe Vera Gel Aloe vera is rich in antioxidants and enzymes that promote skin healing and pigmentation. Apply fresh aloe vera gel on the patches twice daily. Leave it on for 20-30 minutes and wash off with lukewarm water. Coconut Oil Coconut oil moisturizes and repairs damaged skin. Gently massage the affected areas with virgin coconut oil 2-3 times a day. Turmeric and Milk Turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties that help restore skin tone. Mix a pinch of turmeric with a teaspoon of milk to make a paste. Apply it on the patches, leave it for 15 minutes, and rinse off with water. Neem Leaves Paste Neem helps detoxify and rejuvenate the skin. Grind fresh neem leaves with water to make a paste and apply it on the affected areas. Rinse off after 15 minutes. Dietary Tips Include foods rich in Vitamin C (citrus fruits, guava) and antioxidants to promote skin regeneration. Drink plenty of water to keep the skin hydrated. Sun Protection Use sunscreen with SPF 30+ whenever you step outside to prevent further damage. If the condition persists or worsens, consult an Ayurvedic physician for personalized treatments like Ksheeradhara, Virechana, or local therapies that can stimulate melanocyte activity. Take care
