She took the iPill (emergency contraceptive pill) twice a week, specifically on the first and last day of the same week. We would like to know if this frequency is safe or if it poses any potential health risks. Could you please advise on the possible side effects and any recommended alternatives? Actually it's her first time that she ate I pill and she ate two in one week so !!

The  side effects of the emergency pills can range from irregular vaginal bleeding delayed periods and a  high failure rate which means the patient can be pregnant despite taking one Safer alternative could be low dose oral contraceptive pill
