Hi, Please get a confirmation of pregnancy by a pregcolor card test . And then get a Gynaec consult and Usg around 8wks of pregnancy to confirm gestational age and viability. Then repeated antenatal visits every month and Usg

Generally an 8 week scheduled scan is done for locating pregnancy and also to look at fetal viability which means the visibility of fetal heart. This helps in accurately dating the pregnancy as well.

After confirmation of pregnancy it is important ( but not essential) to confirm its location and presence of fetal cardiac activity by ultrasound around 7-8 weeks and then for the safety of the baby and mother few screening tests are required.
