I am taking Fluvoxamine 100 mg for last 10 days. The chemist gave me a Fluvoxamine 100 mg CR. Are these both the same medicine?

Both are same drug preparation. CR is control release preparation. So as to release d drug slowly into d blood stream. Action would be same. CR preparations r little expensive Dan d other.
