About N Fowleri infection

Hello Doctor, I am very worried and afraid. Is it possible that if I blow my nose hard after washing my nose, a few drops of water that might be present in nostrils may get sucked up into the sinuses? I read on internet that on blowing nose hard, the phlegm present in nostrils can be sucked up into the sinuses. We have a borewell connection (via jet pump) where water is stored in an Syntex tank kept on terrace. So, I cannot add Chlorine tablets to it. We use RO water for drinking but to brush teeth/face washing/bathing we use the water from the tank/tap. So, after reading about N Fowleri infection and how serious it can be, I am very anxious. Respected Doctor, please advise me. Am I at risk? Can we be infected if water enters our nose? How can we make sure water doesn't enter nose while washing face or bathing? Can taking Azithromycin help prevent infection? I live in Gorakhpur city in Uttar Pradesh.

Don't get worried unnecessarily. Avoid forceful blowing or cleaning to avoid trauma to tissues. Be careful while bathing.
