My father cretanin level is 1.42, his HbA1c Is 7.9 and also having high blood pressure, along with cholesterol 229,triglycerides 172 Doctor prescribe me nefrozon tablet twice daily I want to know that for how many days should he take it is it safe for him pls advice and what's benifit of nefrozon tablet

Kidney disease progression is slowed by good BP and Diabetes control along with diet precautions. Nefrozon doesn't slow Kidney disease progression if the above mentioned things are not controlled.

I don't give this medication to my patients though many doctor feels it might slow kidney dysfunction. It's costly, not proven and take away your from attention from more important things to help your kidneys like controlling BP, Avoid Painkillers and any Medication which can affect kidney function especially Indeginous drugs. It's safe though.
