Hello doctors.... Is hernia very dangerous? Please tell me about hernia operation. How many days take to cure hernia?

Depends on where the hernia is. All hernias dont need a surgery even though surgery is the only cure. Hernia operations are not at all dangerous.

There are many types of hernia based on its anatomical location. However hernias are very rare in females. Hernia as such is not dangerous until it lands up in complications like obstructed/strangulated hernia. Duration for recovery depends upon the surgical approach taken. Open Hernioplasty has longer recovery period while laparoscopic Hernioplasty has shorter recovery period

There are various types of hernias are there, have you any scan report?. If at-all hernia is there have to under go for surgery, as at anytime it can be an emergency also.

from defect in abdominal wall opening bowel and ometum will come.. obstruction strangulation can occur. if complications start it ll be dangerous.. better to get surgery
