I understand your concern. Hairfall is of different types but your complaints seems to be more of androgenetic alopecia. It can be generic and aggravated by nutritional deficiencies and insulin resistance too. I would advise you to continue minoxidil because it would take atleast 6 months of consistent usage to observe any new regrowth. Kindly be patient and consistent with your treatment.
