About diabetes Hanymoon phase ???

Was c peptide levels which is measure of insulin made by your pancreas checked? Type of diabetes is decided by antibodies and c peptide levels. With antibodies negative, typically it’s less likely to be type 1 diabetes. Also what was the last HbA1C and when was it checked?
As sugar levels improve, the weight corrects and tends increase
