About burning my fat

I'm 41 years of age. I lead a sedentary lifestyle, both at work, and at home.  My mid portion of body is fat. Will cycling for 13 km everyday to office and back home for the same distance by an ordinary gearless cycle help?

Definately it would work. Diet and exercise hand in hand show early results. Also consercentrate of your diet. Cut down white sugar and maida in your diet.
