I had take pills for abortion as per docter consultation on 11th jan , but today after ultrasound its showed not empty yet than she gave me another medicine regarding abortion and call for ultrasound by 25th jan . is there any complications???

a second course cn definitely be given.. but if u feel u still hv not bled and repeat ultrasound shows retained product of conception then u need to get it done surgically by suction and evacuation

Hi, it is standard procedure to do ultrasound after abortion tablets. Patient is always counseled that if pills fail to complete the abortion process, a D&C may be required.
