My cycle has been very heavy for the last 4 months heavier then I am used to. I also use birth control and for the last 6 months I have been getting spotting to the point where it is almost a period 2 weeks before my cycle is due to begin. I am also very tired during my cycle and painful cramps. I have had my period for 10 years now and have had the same period cycle each month up until 4 months ago.
