Hello, as per the papers ,your relative is suffering from severe diabetic retinopathy , we call it PDR stage in our language. The paper mentions " both eyes inferior vitreous haemorrhage' , which means bleeding inside the eye. And the image shows macular oedema , that is filling of fluid in the exact area from which we can see. Both bleeding and oedema are side effects of diabetic eye disease. U have already done PRP laser for bleeding. So that might need to be repeated , and more importantly to take injections or permanent visual loss can happen
Next Steps
take anti VEGF injections as advised
Health Tips
BB eye foundation is a good hospital. don't worry.u are in good hands

She has had PRP laser done for diabetic retinopathy. Did she get injections into the eye also ? She may need it to prevent more damage. She is having retinal problems due to her diabetes and she will need treatment for it. But improvement may not be full. She should also make sure her blood sugar is under control.

The OCT could indicate either evolving macular hole or cytoid macular edema. Anti VEGF intravitreal injection could be helpful in the latter. Former may benefit from Internal limiting membrane peeling, a surgery of eye. Clinical examination is required to decide further course

Usually advanced Diabetic retinopathy causes tractional RD and tears in the retina . The images are not opening . Please do visit the dr and have the OCT and B scan done on an urgent basis . A silicon oil injection might be needed else it may worsen .
