Hello sir/mdm, My son is of age 84days.. From yesterday he is avoiding breastfeeding... What will be the reason and what should do? Also is it ok to give dexolac in such situation... Please consult

Is he having any other symptoms of being unwell? If not,persist with breast feeding .Don't start the baby on formula feeds in a haste .It will cause confusion.It may be a temporary phase which will pass off

Dont add formula at all....it will derail the breastfeeding...if baby has no other symptoms like fever cough cold..wait for few days..that should make him.fine

Give feed on demand if breast milk is not sufficient u can give formula feed . Breast feeding is good
