70 year old with persistent dry cough

2021-09-18 04:23:59
My 70 year old mother is sensitive to cold and started coughing when she had a shower and sat below the fan under high speed. She has been coughing since a week. Most times dry, some times she has some mucusy kind of spit out. She has no shortness of breath or fever or any weakness. Should I be worried ? Do I need to see a specialist or run some tests ? Any suggestion would be very helpful as she refuses to see a doctor

She could be suffering from allergy/asthma or chronic bronchitis. Need more relevant information and a detailed evaluation is required
