Baby is 3.5 months old and is exclusively breastfeeding. It's been a week and still she is not pooping. She is taing her feed properly. I am worried. How long can I wait and is there anything to be given? Thank you

It's abnormal. Intestinal aganglionosis ( hirschsprung disease) should be ruled out . Discuss and get baby investigated.

Exclusively breastfed babies not pooping for 7-10 days is normal. If vomiting, excessive crying, abdominal pain /distension, visit your nearby pediatrician.

It's ok for exclusively breastfed babies to not poop for days. No need to worry unless baby is crying excessively or irritable and stomach feels tight or tense
Next Steps
if no poop for 10days visit a pediatrician
