20 days old baby ask for milk non stop
Hello dctr,
My baby is 20 days old and he is continuously asking for milk. Non stop have given him 50ml Nan excella pro also but he is still asking for milk.

Dear parents,
Due to sucking reflex, Baby when touched lips area start sucking.this does not mean he is hungry.
You have to start by feedings every 2hrly in day and from 10pmto6am on demand.
Once breast get empty after feeding it' takes time to get replinish.

Getting hungry can be expressed by crying but crying always even after feeding is not because he is hungry. Try to find other causes like colic pain, wet diapers, extra clothing, no body is around or he just needs his mother around. Try to distract him by taking him for a walk or so. See the difference. If not able to console please consult pediatrician.
