2 month old turns head to left only

My 2 months old turns her head only to left.. Upon distraction, she turns to right for just a sec and turns back to left. While breastfeed she turns to right. She is diagnosed with ptosis in right eye...is that the reason?

An urgent evaluation by Paediatrician is needed. All of the problems as above can happen. Torticollis/ contacture also needs to be looked into  to rule out Sternomastoid tumor.

Get in touch with a pediatric ophthalmologist.urgently. Ptosis by birth needs to be evaluated . Babies sometimes use only one eye preferentially and start losing vision in the other eye .

Some children develop a propensity to turn to one side only. Due to this they lose hair on that side too.

Baby's neck holding will come arround 3 months of age , that will get corrected with time, also if any ptosis is there it will correct gradually as child grows, as Baby's vision develops
