13.5 month old daughter don't get tooth

Hi Doc, My daughter is 13.5 month old and she did not get a single tooth. I can only see a little whitish gums. Is it normal or should I get her checked?

Sometimes the eruption is Late of the kids it’s called delayed eruption it is very much common nowadays still opinion can be taken from Pedodontist

Hello mam,      Hope you are doing good. Most of the kids are getting delayed eruption. I suggest you to wait for eruption. And please do give her more of finger foods like fresh carrots, beets to bite so that biting increases her eruption tendency. Please dont avoid hards foods inspite of no teeth. You can give safe biting foods to increase her chewing and biting tendency. Please do use teether often until teeth erupts.

Don't worry...teeth will come.. Nowadays generally most of kids are getting teeth erupted late than expected...it's becoming normal now...still you can visit pedodontist for just routine checkup and get worry resolved..

Hi This might be a case of delayed eruption and nothing else. 1st tooth that you will see will be in lower front area. Usually eruption starts after 7 to 8 months but this window can always change.
