Hi Doctor, Recently, we have undergone HB typing test before planning for the second child. The doctors suggested based on results of the report that go for 'mutation test for alpha thalassemia',. Please suggest is it really require to undergo this test as we have our first baby(7 Yrs) healthy ?.
